God calls us to return to Him by abandoning the habits that do not please Him—those things hidden in our hearts that defile our souls .
Do not be holy only outwardly through appearance or physical actions , but rather through a true transformation of character .
It is God alone who searches our hearts , and our soul is aware of it.
God forgives every kind of sin , because He is love—slow to anger, rich in goodness and mercy .

Even if He has allowed discipline upon His child, when that person returns to Him, God forgives and heals the wounds caused by that discipline .
